Please don't pass up the chance to stay here. It's clean, quiet, and a great get away destination.
Nice place based on cost, rooms not to bad beds comfortable. Had three room two did not have a show head, but nice hot water. Only thing need to change pool photo kids where disappointed no slide. Outside had grilles and nice tables in back but nothing by rooms for visiting. All in all surprised based on price.
I stayed there during my Le Tour De Shore cycling ride, in #6 room. I was pleasantly surprised how nice the room was. Wasn't expecting "high end" room from a small motel in this area. Room was clean and seemed to be freshly remodeled. The only thing I didn't like was no seating/benches outside of the rooms, and no bug screens in a storm doors and windows (some other rooms had screens). It's family owned and operated, and they are nice and helpful. There is a beautiful state park /Indiana Dunes Lakeshore/ with a nice and clean beach near by. There is also very nice, "rustic" bicycle trail just behind the motel. I will be back for sure.
Conveniently located, clean and quiet (but for occasional train passing just a couple of hundred feet away). Don't forget to bring you own shampoo and a blow-dryer, if you need one.
Great for kids. Nice country setting. Big back yard with playground and small pool. Real close to the beach and town park.
